But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.

— Isaiah 53:5
Our Vision
God has called us to serve the people of Churchill and district:
* To help people know the fullness of God’s love and forgiveness in Christ and then to walk in all the blessings of the New Creation.
* To show God’s love by providing practical help to families and individuals in our community.
* Where practicable, to assist other organisations and churches that are actively helping people in our area.

Leadership

Pastor Steve McNeilly

Steve McNeilly has been a Christian pastor for 35 years, serving in Essendon, Broadmeadows, Churchill, Warrnambool and Moe. He was pastor of the Churchill Crusade Centre, as it was then known, from 1991 to early in 2002, when he moved with his wife Sandie to Warrnambool. Since returning to Gippsland in 2013, they have attended the Moe CRC assembly, officially known as the Moe New Life Christian Centre. Steve is currently the owner manager of Variety Bookroom in Moe, and also leads Churchill Christian Fellowship.

Steve published his book “Our Culture in Christ” in 2008. It was, and still is, a unique cultural study of Christianity. In 2018 he published a novel, “Contesting Faith” in which a dying man compares various belief systems seeking the one that will best prepare him for death.
